How did we get here?

Hi!

We’re Kristen, Shea, and most important of all — Ozzy.

We moved to Marrakech from California in 2018 on what most would consider a (massive) whim. We bought a riad and have been running it as a guest house ever since.

When we aren’t welcoming guests, we’re usually off exploring somewhere new, always with Ozzy in tow and seeking out dog-friendly places full of the things we love most — good food, thoughtful design, and a strong sense of place.

We know firsthand that traveling with a dog can feel daunting — from logistics to accommodations, it’s a lot to figure out. But we’ve also had some of our most meaningful, joyful travel moments because we brought Ozzy along. It slows us down in the best ways, helps us notice more, and leads to the kind of experiences that linger long after the trip ends.
